Children's Ministry:

To everyone at the Chapel:
Thank you God for giving us the opportunity to serve
You by offering ministry to children and by giving parents and others a
chance to attend a service without the distraction of young children.
Please pray for continued protection over these
classrooms and for each child and parent to be blessed by the teaching of
the Word.
The Children’s Ministry mission is to
establish a foundation of faith in each of our students’
hearts. In addition to hearing the stories of the Bible our children
are learning how and when to apply these lessons to their own lives as well
as to the lives of others. In the older grades we have been studying
Bible basics including a timeline of biblical history and the actual
division of the Bible into specific books and sections. What a blessing it
is to read out loud from the Bible and have the children sit there
listening spell-bound!
God bless you for your prayers and service to the
Children's Ministry programs at the Chapel at River Crossing. Children’s classes begin after praise and worship
during the 10:30 AM service and continue until the adult service is
finished.
We have classes for the following age
groups:

Note:
If your child has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior and would like
to take Communion please inform your child’s teacher you wish to pick
up your child to come and take communion with you as a family in the main
sanctuary.
A big thank you goes to all of the aides who help
each Sunday with snack, bathroom visits, etc. as well as thank you so much
to those who have supervised classes during monthly kids' church and
substituted on a regular basis. Donations to the snack closet such as juice boxes, individually wrapped snacks or simple
crackers such as gold fish or pretzels are always appreciated and we can always
use extra donations, especially markers, poster board and paints for the
art supplies closet. Other useful items include play dough, baby wipes,
disposable pads for the changing table in the nursery and small toys for
the scripture memory prize box. Drop-offs can be made to
classroom 1A across from the kitchen. If you have any questions or
suggestions regarding the Children’s Ministry programs please do not
hesitate to contact the Children's Ministry or talk to any
Sunday School teacher. Our
children’s classes are growing by leaps and bounds and if you would
like to be part of this very fun and exciting ministry please do not
hesitate to let us know!
In service to Christ,
Barbara & Chris
