JHCC is a Matthew 28:19-20
church supporting mission endeavors in the
"Ten-Forty Window" and elsewhere in the world. The
"10/40 Window" is the area on a map roughly laying
between the 10th and 40th parallels. In these places of the world are
the largest groups of peoples who have never heard the Good News of Jesus
Christ. Individuals and families within the church and the Christian Center, via the Mission Board,
support numerous Christian workers around the world with finances and prayer.

AZERBAIJAN
JHCC is a part of the Azerbaijan Alliance
with groups and individuals who pray on a regular basis for the people of Azerbaijan,
and our friends who live and work there.
Located on the western side of the Caspian Sea, north of Iran, Azerbaijan is a country of
extraordinary beauty. The peoples are descendants of Caucasian Albanians
and Turks. A large Turkish influence is seen in their culture. There are 39
different ethnic groups among the more than 8 million people of Azerbaijan.
The country is in a shift economically from communism to capitalism, and is
predominantly Muslim.
